Highway boosts economic growth in Mansfield

A major east-west highway, known in the early 1900s as "Ohio Market Route 3" (now US Route 30) was built through Mansfield and was part of the historic Lincoln Highway -- the first road across America, connecting New York City to San Francisco. This further influenced the economic development of the city.
